A Beautiful June Wedding at Ma Maison

May 2, 2024

Welcome to Lena + Zach’s beautiful June wedding at Ma Maison! With bright, colorful florals, a stunning indoor ceremony and gorgeous couple portraits on the sprawling Ma Maison property, this wedding is a must-see!

A Beautiful June Wedding

Even in Texas, where temps can easily break the triple digit mark, June is a popular wedding month! One great thing about a venue like Ma Maison is that they have an incredible indoor ceremony option.

The Ma Maison Chapel is beautiful inside and out, plus there are enormous windows behind the altar, providing a really good natural light situation even indoors. So, whether the outdoor temperature is uncomfortable for guests or if you want to have a good rain back up plan, Ma Maison has you covered.

Though it wasn’t in the original plan for this wedding day, the ceremony did end up moving inside due to some storms in the forecast. Thankfully the inclement weather stayed away long enough for us to capture all the wedding party and couple portraits we needed outside, and the result was absolutely gorgeous!

An A&M Love Story

Lena + Zach first met in class at Texas A&M (quick tangent, I went to Kyle Field for the first time this week and JEEZ I had NO IDEA how HUGE it is!). They dated for 4 years before they got engaged. Zach planned the perfect proposal, popping the question at sunset on a dock at Cedar Lake where his family spends a lot of holidays.

It was Easter weekend, and both Zach and Lena’s families were there to see the proposal, along with some of their closest friends. It was just perfect! I always say the perfect proposal is tailored to the person being proposed to, and Zach did that amazingly for Lena.

Their families, friends and loved ones are so important to both Lena and Zach, and that came through immensely on their wedding day as well. These two people love deeply and are deeply loved!

Vendor Thank You’s

A HUGE thank you to Stems of ATX who did such an incredible job on the floral design for this wedding! They are true artists that went above and beyond! Also, how cute is the champagne bottle Lena had with her bridal details? Such a nice touch and the bottle fits the aesthetic and palette of her wedding perfectly!

Lastly, this day wouldn’t have been possible without the leadership and planning prowess of Melanie Richardson at Something to Celebrate! Melanie is a delight to work with and we were so grateful for the chance to collaborate with her on this wedding! You rock, Melanie!

Thanks to all the wonderful vendors from this day and to Lena + Zach for inviting us to capture such a special chapter of their lives. We appreciate you all!

With all the love,

L+L
