We believe that marriage is meaningful, and so is what we do.
At our wedding more than 10 years ago, we looked around the room and saw family, friends and loved ones from all different walks of life gathered together for one reason: to celebrate us.
In that moment we felt more loved, supported and cared-for than ever before, and that’s our mission for every L+L Couple: to elevate your entire wedding experience so that when you look back at the images we capture you don’t just remember how it looked - you remember how you felt.

When we’re not snapping photos of couples in love, we’re probably watching a new show on Netflix (or re-watching FRIENDS for the ten-thousandth time). We’re also parents to the greatest kid on planet earth, Judah James Bortner. Fiercely competitive over board games and compulsive quoters of movies and TV shows, we seem to have a magnet on us that attracts stray kittens who need love. We believe heaven is a long hike through Yosemite National Park, and that every vacation needs a theme song. Equality, Unconditional Love and Minimalism are our jam.

"I don't think I could have found a more perfect photography couple to capture our special day! Lacey and Lee are so sweet and funny, we got along very well throughout our wedding process! I am absolutely in love with all our photos."
We’re all about those beautiful timeless images, but wedding photography is so much more than that. You’ll spend more time with your wedding photographer than any other vendor on your wedding day, so you need a true pro - someone who supports and encourages you, who treats your family members with kindness, someone who knows when to step back and be a fly on the wall, and when to step in and take charge.
Someone who feels like an old friend that just happened to have a camera on the wedding day. That’s where we come in.
Lee leaves his day job to join the business full-time. We find out Baby Bortner is on the way. We find a terrified kitten under the hood of Lee’s car. Rocket (aka Rocco) enters our lives.
