This classic black and white wedding at The Arlo is a perfect representation of what can happen when you blend the timeless and modern, the high end with the scenic and organic.
This wedding day features lush greenery from the artisans at Native Bloom, the modern elegance of The Arlo, a touching ceremony at nearby St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Dripping Springs, stunning sunset portraits, and a show-stopping cold sparks exit to finish the night!
Clara + Eduardo met at the University of Austin where they were both students. She was a Geology major, he was studying Computer Science. They met in a Spanish class, the irony being that they were both already fluent Spanish speakers. In the end, they ended the semester with what was probably a really easy “A”, and a soulmate. Not a bad way to spend a college semester!
Years later they purchased a house together, and Eduardo used their new home as the setting for his proposal. Knowing his soon-to-be bride would want their loved ones to be included in the moment, Eduardo enlisted the help of their families to set the stage. Decorations, music, and the people they love most in the world awaited him and Clara when they arrived at their new home, and soon they were engaged to be married.
Lovely Day Events helmed the planning and design for this classic black tie wedding, perfectly executing Clara’s vision of a neutral, minimal palette that accentuated the natural beauty of the Arlo. Stunning custom signage courtesy of Jen Krause Paper Co helped guests find their table assignments, made even more eye-catching with floral pieces from Native Bloom.
With a bride and groom so focused on celebrating with close family and friends, Love & Happiness was the perfect reception entertainment, keeping the dance floor lively all night long. And speaking of the dance floor, this checkered black and white dance floor from Peerless Events was such an elegant and elevating accent piece, not to mention the custom marquee from Alpha Lit Austin.
Thanks to this outstanding vendor team, and to Clara + Eduardo for inviting us to be part of such a special event!
With all the love,
L+L
