JESSICA || A Windy Bridal Session in the Texas Hill Country

Texas hill country weddings and bridal sessions are our FAVORITES, and this one is no exception!!

Jessica + Dillon got married at the end of May at the Rock Church in Cranfills Gap (check out their blog post here!) but about a month before we met up with Jessica to get some bridal photos and capture the excitement and anticipation that always sets in during the last few weeks of the engagement. We’re so glad we can finally share these images!!

After rescheduling the bridal session once for fear of rain, we were happy to see clear skies and bright sun for Jessica’s bridal session. There was one tiny challenge though – it was SO WINDY! And though its hard to imagine as we write this blog in 100+ degree June, it was chilly too! Nevertheless, Jessica was the most graceful bride and had such a great attitude and sense of humor despite the wind!

This sprawling hill country ranch with tall trees and rolling hills is owned by a close friend of Jessica’s family (pictured in the last image on this blog) and when we asked Jessica if there was a place she had in mind for her bridal session, this was an easy choice. We’re always happy to recommend session locations, but we do encourage our couples to choose places where they would feel comfortable and at ease, especially if that place is extra special them.

Special thanks to Sydney and Cindy for all your help during this session, and of course a huge thanks to Jessica for being such a wonderful subject for this session, and an amazing bride on your wedding day!! :)))
