Romantic Wedding at the Driskill Hotel
Tiffany + Will were referred to us by the stellar team at Verve Event Planning, a luxury wedding planning and design team lead by industry savant Barbara Shorts. With more than 20 years in the industry and a resume that boasts more than 200+ weddings, galas and events, Barbara and her team did a phenomenal job with the design and execution of this beautiful wedding. We were honored they thought of us when building out the vendor team!

Tiffany told us that when she and her mother toured The Driskill, her mind was made up from the moment they walked through the door. She wanted her wedding to feel like a fairytale and The Driskill made for the perfect palace.
Today is the Day
For the proposal, Will not only pulled off a surprise but perfectly tailored the proposal to his new bride. Tiffany + Will met through Shoreline Christian Church in Dallas. Both of them are very involved in the church and their faith is central to their lives and their relationship with each other. On the way to a party, Will told Tiffany they needed to stop by Shoreline to pick something up.
When they arrived Tiffany saw the church lobby romantically decorated, complete with candle light. She was surprised. So surprised, in fact, that she thought there was another event happening at the church, and quietly asked Will if they should leave. “Today’s the day, Tiff.” Will said, before getting down on one knee and presenting the ring.
A True First Kiss
Tiffany and Will wanted to do anything they could to keep their wedding day special. After all, it was their fairytale, right? They ultimately decided to do something a little bit unique – they waited to have their first kiss until the end of the ceremony. In other words, their first kiss as husband and wife was their TRUE first kiss! What a powerful way to celebrate the start of a marriage!
In working with her in advance of the wedding day to plan her photography coverage, Tiffany told us that she really wanted a photo of their first kiss with all of their loved ones and family members in the background. I was a little hesitant, after all putting a photographer onstage next to the officiant can be disruptive, but in retrospect I am so glad she pushed for this. The officiant pronounced them husband + wife, the audience cheered, and we captured what might be the MOST EPIC first kiss of all time. Check out that photo in the blog below!
