A Driftwood Proposal
Mitchell took Tara to Driftwood Winery in the hill country, the same place they went together on their first date. Mitchell had taken steps to throw Tara off the scent, convincing her he wouldn’t propose for another 2 months. When he got down on one knee on a hill overlooking the vineyard, Tara was completely surprised. It was the perfect moment.
They spent the rest of the day visiting spots that were important to them throughout their relationship and imagining what this new chapter of life would bring. From there the surprises continued, as Tara discovered that Mitchell had arranged for both of their parents to meet them for a surprise celebratory dinner!
White & Blush Canyonwood Ridge Wedding
Tara + Mitchell knew they wanted a classic, timeless, and elegant space for their wedding day. Working with the team at Pearl Events Austin, they crafted a color palette with white, blush pink, and a touch of blue. The talented artists at Bouquets of Austin installed myriad lush florals throughout the ceremony and reception space, bringing Tara’s color palette to life.
Tara + Mitchell also invested in personal touches that elevated the experience of their guests. From a custom dance floor, to signature drinks named for their cats to a beautifully designed four-tiered wedding cake – they left no stone unturned and did it right.
A big thanks to Tara + Mitchell, their loved ones, and the outstanding vendor team below for making this gorgeous wedding day possible. We were honored to capture every minute of it!
