Welcome to Tori and Blake’s beautiful spring wedding at the Mansion at Colovista! As I write this blog, Tori and Blake are celebrating their one year anniversary as a married couple, so consider this a special anniversary edition of the L+L Blog!
Mansion at Colovista Spring Wedding
Tori + Blake first met in Houston years ago. Houston is home for Tori and Blake was there for work in the oil & gas industry. They met thanks to a chance encounter on Bumble and fell for each other fast. Soon Blake would need to move to Midland for his job, but the two of them found a way to do long distance for a while as they both knew this was something special.
Years later they bought a house together in Houston, and one day Blake took Tori to one of his favorite nature spots near their house for a picnic. He asked her to be his wife and they began this exciting new chapter of life together.

This Mansion at Colovista spring wedding was such a treat to photograph, due in part to the beautiful weather and the absolutely stunning florals provided by Tori + Blake’s dear friend and professional florist, Mitchell Welch. The excellent planning team at the mansion, Katherine + Becky of B&K Elegant Events did a wonderful job managing the flow of the wedding day, as per usual, and just wait until you see the stunning cake from Johnson’s Bakery. Gorgeous!
