Colorful Ma Maison Wedding
With an eye for the bold and colorful, and a passion for fashion, Hayward knew she didn’t want her Ma Maison wedding to be simple: she wanted it to be a statement. A colorful and creative canvas for her and her loved ones to express themselves. Hayward’s vision came to life brilliantly!
Texas Romeo & Juliet
Hayward and Alec are a Texas Romeo and Juliet. Hayward is a graduate of Texas A&M while Alec is Texas Longhorn, but even one of the greatest college rivalries ever couldn’t keep these two apart. After dating for a while, Alec knew he wanted Hayward to be his wife. Every Sunday after church, the two of them would go to a nearby park and have a picnic (how cute is that?).
Hayward didn’t think much of it on that fateful day in August when they stopped at the park for their weekly picnic, until she saw Alec pull a bottle of champagne and a really nice, new photogenic blanket from the trunk of the car. Moments later, he was down on one knee as a hidden photographer snapped photos of her reaction from the distance. It was such a sweet moment!
Flowers as a Love Language
If Hayward has a love language, it might be flowers. The amazing team at Wild Bunches Floral outdid themselves, creating an impressive hanging upside down garden over the dance floor and floral covered trees at the head of the ceremony aisle. Hayward’s bridesmaids carried brightly colorful bouquets and got to choose their own bridesmaids dresses, another creative and colorful opportunity for a statement.
For her dress, Hayward chose a statement Enzoani gown with a gorgeous lace train. She said she fell in love with it the first time she put it on. To complete her bridal look she added a truly touching memento, the same veil her mother wore when she married Hayward’s father 30 years ago. She admires their married so much – bringing a piece of their love story with her on her wedding day was the perfect day to honor them and make her wedding day that much more meaningful.
Vendor Dream Team
A symphony requires a skilled orchestra to play it, and in the same way a flawless wedding day requires a skilled vendor team to execute the couple’s vision. Hayward looked absolutely stunning thanks to the team at Katy Reddell Beauty. Ma Maison was the perfect, idyllic setting for this romantic wedding day, and every detail was perfectly designed by the planning team at Something to Celebrate.
From a personalized invitation suite designed by GB Design House to an absolutely gorgeous cake design by Classy Cakes by Lori, this local team of vendors created an aesthetic of summertime fun and romance setting the stage for an awesome night of dancing to incredible live music from Jordan Kahn Music Company. At the end of the night the couple left in style with a New Orleans style exit and a getaway car from ATX Classic Cars.
