The Grand Lady is a wedding photographer’s dream venue! This unique, historic mansion perfectly blends timeless and modern and has lots of beautiful scenic greenery for lovers of natural light like us. We were psyched when Vanessa and Zach told us they wanted to do their engagement session there!

Tucked away on a quiet road in Manor, TX The Grand Lady is just a few miles outside of Austin and offers its guests a truly one-of-a-kind event space. While preserving historic touches like the ornamental woodwork and stained glass windows that date back to the 1800’s, the team at the Grand Lady have worked to modernize the property, making it a highly versatile and unique event space.
As grand lady wedding photographers we appreciate how spacious and beautifully lit the indoor spaces are, including the getting ready suites and cozy downstairs living room in the historic house. Whether couples are looking to throw a formal black tie wedding or want a more modern, garden party vibe – there truly is something for everyone at the Grand Lady.
Bright & Romantic
Vanessa + Zach booked us as their photography team relatively early in their planning process, and we remember Vanessa telling us they were drawn to our bight, romantic and timeless style of wedding photography. And these two have such an fun and joyful vibe, we knew this session was going to be a blast before we ever even got there!
During their consultation call, Vanessa told us about how she and Zach met, thanks largely to a coworker of Zach’s who called him after meeting Vanessa at a happy hour event. “Come to happy hour,” his friend told Zach, “your future wife is here and you’ve gotta meet her.” Clearly that friend was spot on, and Zach eventually proposed to Vanessa in Sedona, AZ. What an amazing place to get engaged!

Vanessa + Zach will get married in October of 2023 and we are so excited to capture all the wonderful moments with them and their loved ones! And as you can see from these images, there will be plenty of joy to go around!
