Summer Wedding at Pecan Springs Ranch
This was our third visit to Pecan Springs Ranch in 2022, and each time it’s been such a pleasure to photograph there! Pecan Springs Ranch offers several different outdoor ceremony options, making it a versatile choice for couples who want to have a few different set ups available to them. It’s been really interesting to get to see how different couples customize the space!
A recent wedding here had the ceremony set up behind the bridal cottage in front of the brick fireplace, whereas Lexy + Zack had their’s in front of the towering oak trees towards the back of the property. Both of these ceremony locations are absolutely stunning, but we thought it might be helpful for future PSR couples to get to see two ceremony options back to back!
Mysteries of Momo
L+L Blog readers may remember Lexy + Zack from their engagement session blog, which also took place here at Pecan Springs Ranch! We had so much fun at their session taking photos, getting to know them, and hearing about their super adorable frenchie, Momo.
Designed for Elegance
It was clear Lexy and Zack designed this wedding to be an elegant, personalized celebration that truly felt like them. During the wedding party processional, the Sienna String Quartet played a rendition of “Here Comes the Sun”, followed by the more traditional Canon in D as Lexy and her father Sammy walked down the aisle.
The ceremony site, beautifully decorated by the Wild Poppy Floral team, featured white rose petals on either side of the aisle, gorgeous floral installs, and a handcrafted wooden ceremony arch Zack built with his own two hands.
Given how warm Texas summers can be, Lexy and Zack (ever the thoughtful hosts) chose to move their guests inside the reception space and flip the room once cocktail hour was complete. By having greenery and flowing drapery added to the ceiling, Lexy was able to bring the scenic natural beauty of the vast property into the cocktail hour space itself, giving the room a unique, elegant feel. Add some custom cocktails and delicious horderves courtesy of the Royal Fig catering team, and you have an elegant indoor garden party with a southern twist!
The Wedding Day
Lexy walked down the aisle, radiant in the soft evening glow we’ve come to expect at Pecan Springs Ranch. Seriously, the sunsets in Dripping Springs are something magical…aren’t they? No wonder it’s the wedding capital of Texas.
The vows? Perfect.
Zack spoke about their years together and Lexy’s unwavering support and care when he had multiple knee surgeries. Lexy talked about how captivated she was with him during their first date, his smile, his hearty laugh. They exchanged rings, shared a kiss, and just like that they were husband and wife.

Hey you two! If we remember correctly, you are currently on your honeymoon in Costa Rica, so if you’re reading this we hope you’re either on the beach with a cocktail in hand, or cozied up in bed after a long day filled with hiking and exploring. We are just so thankful for you both. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day, and for trusting us to capture so many special moments with you and your family members.
