Welcome to Jodi + Trent’s Hyatt Lost Pines Wedding!
We have been so excited for this wedding all year, not just because Jodi + Trent are wonderful people, but because Jodi is a fellow member of the wedding industry AND a wedding planning pro in her own right! What a treat to get to work with a vendor we respect and admire so much!
The mind at work behind the incredibly successful ETC Coordinators, Jodi possesses everything you need in a dream day-of coordinator: she is a kind and warm people-person, with the sharp, detail-oriented mind that made this wedding the beautiful event that it ultimately became!
We first met Jodi by a chance encounter on instagram, not knowing that we shared some dear mutual friends (shoutout to Meredith + Aron!) or that we were both members of the wedding industry. Once we met with Jodi and learned more about her vision for this beautiful, eclectic and intimate wedding at Hyatt Lost Pines, we knew this would be an unforgettable wedding experience, and we were right!
The day started with Trent and his crew playing 18 holes of golf at WolfDancer Golf Club while Jodi + her entourage enjoyed some sunrise yoga courtesy of ATX Yoga Girl at Spa Django. Jodi + Trent had surely designed an intentional and curated experience for their wedding guests, and it certainly showed!
After a spontaneous and heart-werming first look with her step-dad, Jodi + Trent shared a touching first look near one of the towering pine trees from which the Hyatt takes its name. From there we moved to the Hummingbird Garden for their ceremony made complete with the musical stylings of John Prather.
Jodi + Trent recited their vows in front of friends and family, and there was likely not a dry eye in the place. One line from Trent’s vows has really stuck with us. He said, “I love how your smile and laugh add not just days to my life, but years.” Wow. Just wow!
Upon the completion of the ceremony, John Prather led us on a music-fueled, leisurely stroll across the Hyatt grounds, complete with champagne flutes and the congratulatory cheers of onlookers and hotel guests. It was the closest thing to a wedding day parade we’ve seen and we loved it!
As the night came to a close, Jodi + Trent danced, they laughed with loved ones, and they treated their guests to some of the most delicious desserts we’ve tasted! It was the perfect end to the perfect wedding day!
Jodi + Trent, we are just so, so grateful for you two! Getting to be your wedding photographers was such an honor, and we are so thankful for all the kindness you showed us throughout the planning process leading up to and on your wedding day! We are so glad to have played a part in your wedding story, and we look forward to all the greatness you two will accomplish as a married couple!
