Elegant Spring Wedding Inspo at Via Antonia

Few wedding venues in Austin have the inherant elegance or timeless beauty of Villa Antonia. This stunning italian villa nestled in the Texas Hill Country has hosted more than 2,000 weddings in it’s 20+ year history, and for good reason. The beautiful white chapel, the stone archways, the sweeping landscape views of the canyon – all of it adds up to an incredibly romantic wedding experience for those lucky enough to say their vows here. 

So, as you can imagine, when the opportunity came to photograph this editorial wedding inspiration shoot at Villa Antonia, we jumped at the chance! We owe a huge thank you to Kim Robinson of Drops of Honey Designs, who’s pure design genius is the reason the romantic colors in this session not only pop off the page, but blend together to create a cohesive aesthetic that we just LOVE.

This spring wedding palette finds the perfect balance between soft and romantic and fun pops of color, and it certainly doesn’t hurt that the colors, architecture and overall aesthetic are giving us total Bridgerton vibes.

For many couples who are unable to make the flight across the pond to have their wedding on beautiful Lake Como or on the Amalfi Coast, Via Antonia provides an idyllic Italian venue and landscape in the middle of the rolling Texas Hill Country.

Every detail of this session was meticulously and wonderfully designed, from the mouth-watering appetizers courtesy of the team at La Pera Catering, to the elegant paper design from Beautifully Noted, or the eye-popping florals from Lovelilly Flowers – it was a photographers playground, and we were happy to play.
